Got to love Old Forge weather............

Yesterday was one of those interesting days when it came to weather.  We had the high wind warning, like most areas did.  Around 3:45pm we lost the power and we didn't see it back on till 10pm.  OK no big thing and you can figure on it going out with the winds. But check out the video below.  This was a little after noon and the temp was in the 40's.  Also between 7 and 8 in the evening it was snowing to the point you would of thought it was mid Feb.

  1. Thanks for that little clip Steve! Been enjoying your efforts all season long, and I really appreciate your HD camera work, both at the hotel and on the trails. Have a great 'off' season and looking forward to it starting again in the fall (O:

  6. Hi Steve just want to let you know our good buddy Ron Hess passed away April 12th. He stayed at your place few times this winter. He loved snowmobiling in Old Forge and still rode like the wind even while battling liver cancer. He was our leader while riding there and we're going to miss him. RIP Ron!

    1. Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about Ron's passing and your loss. Please pass on my condolences to his family and friends.

He had snowmobiling running in his veins and he'll always be with you when you're out on the trials. My memory is from this past winter, when Billy and I found the three of you on the side of the trail. With one sled in the ditch and we helped you guys get it back on the trail again.

      Peace be with you,
      Steve
