Here's the first of I hope many videos for the season. We have the snow, but we really need to see some colder temps than we have been. As the ground is still warm and all this snow makes it hard to get any frost in the ground. The groomers have been out packing things down. So that should help set the trails up faster.

ReplyDeleteLooking good Steve haven't seen this much activity in a long time , I'm sure Dave with post shortly saying it's not going to last and it's just base material that will melt soon enough. As for the rest of us that hold on to the hope of a great season ahead

Speaking of packing snow down on the sides of the road has the town made a decision wether or not we can drive going both directions on the trail across from the school and at lake front etc. Police were stopping people across the school saying we were on the wrong sideof the road!! We thought the trail was there to ride on & make it easier & safer than riding down the school side on bare road with no control of steering not to mention hard on sleds. Please advise! Thanks
ReplyDeleteThanks for the video Steve, I know it isn't easy to get all of your work done with your business while still getting to us sledheads. It is truly appreciated! Hopefully the rain will stay away this weekend and it won't do too much damage and the season will start with a bang. Think Snow!
ReplyDeleteLooks like some nice cold coming in for tues and the rest of the week! We are actually way ahead of the game and actually have had seasonable temps all in all for nov and some below. Looks really good so far!

ReplyDeleteIt’s gonna be great and long term looks cold except for 1 day! It’s not gonna be a huge lose and the cold that’s coming after will freeze any melt down which is actually better! Forget any negative people we are in for a good season! If with negativity last season we rode every weekend! This is the best start in a long time! Be positive good things are coming. Looks like snow also for the end of next week so some fresh stuff on top of what we already have will be great!!
