Snow all day..............

It starting snowing mid morning, but we haven't seen any big numbers as of yet.  Traffic has been light and the groomers are out doing magic with what they have to work with.  One thing that is almost always a plus this time of the year, is the snow is the good packing stuff.  So it doesn't take much for it to add up, unlike lake effect that is light weight stuff.

Today's Video......

    1. The only thing I get from the OF site is the trail report. Snow totals I measure myself and yes in the last 24 hours we saw about 2 inches of new snow.

    3. Guests I talked to seem to be happy with conditions. They said you will find some ugly spots, but for the most part they are happy. Looks like snow the next few days and that will help hold things together for the weekend.

    1. Long range looks good, with now sun and snow most days. But that can and I'm sure will change a few times before it gets here.

    3. I didn't give bad advice, nor would I ever when it comes to riding the lakes. But if you know where you're going and have experience riding the lakes they are fine. There is a solid 12 inches of ice, if not even more.

    4. @ Anonymous 2:42 So never ride the lakes? Yeah ok. My rule is if you see ice fisherman out there it is safe to ride. They measure the ice and know if its safe or not. If you dont want to ever ride the lake then thats fine. Enjoy those bumpy ass trails.
