Out in full force...................

Well we didn't see any big number snow amounts here in Old Forge yet.  But the warning is in effect till 7pm Sunday night.  So anything is possible when it comes to lake effect snow.  The groomers are out in full force this weekend and they are doing there best to keep up with the amount of sleds that are in town.  I'd say we've seen 4 to 6 inches so far.  No not big numbers but enough to put us back in riding conditions.

Today's Video..............

  1. Tried to go over to the hill today... From Burdick's crossing toward the drive in was zero snow... Just mud, rocks and deep water.
Otherwise is was a great day

  3. Yes, hopefully they're OK. Those getting stuck in the snow in today's video need to use the-
Snow bungee rescue system. It really works!
Years ago, I got tired of pulling my back out with stuck sleds and got one.

  8. This is soooooo asking for liberal Jokes or propaganda from OH I dunnoo. Tho Itd be great if MICK dodge came out of the woods or from underneath, laughed, solved the problem, and went back into the bush... This is really HILARIOUS. MANY of us ditched sleds at TEN years old and got ourselves out of it without help... What's wrong with these people????? earn it and learn it... Signed, South of north country

  9. You can get it at amazon.com. You can get the snowbunje 1001 rattler or the 1002 sled to sled pulling system. Both are 5 stars. Check out the videos. Don't get a hernia. Both are $50-$60 each, but well worth it!

  10. Have you ever stopped and helped someone out with a buried sled. Probably not. My first time on a snowmobile was 1968 on a polaris colt. Nice try tho.

  11. 20 dollar tow strap works just as well, why pay that much for something that does the same?

  13. God forbid someone gets on a ski loop and gives it a little tug. No hernia, more like a simple 20 pounds of pull and waa-laa a miracle will occur about every time. That girl weighed nothing so it would have been easy if she knew how to hit the throttle at all. Let's be honest - she had no clue. Maybe a little better/thorough instruction from the leader of that group could prevent additional or much worse issues.
