Update.........

We had snow on and off most of the day on Friday, but it really didn't amount up to much more than an inch or so.  Today so far it's been cloudy with light snow in the air.  Cold temps are in the forecast with some snow, so it's just going to be a wait and see thing.

    1. All depends on the year. But with the way the temps have been I don't see it happening this year.

  5. This strong push of arctic air will lead to heavy lake-effect snow bands developing downwind of the Great Lakes by Friday and Saturday, where some areas will be measuring the snow in feet. Just in time for Snodeo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. To the anonymous "dude" man, I was only asking a question, nothing wrong with that. Thats sorta the point of this blog. From Steve's response, it sure seems it has happened in the past which was what I was after.

    1. There is no cut and dry answer to this question. It all depends on what kind of snow they are working with. A foot of dry lake effect packs down to maybe a inch or two and a foot of heavy wet snow pack down to much more.

    2. Riding will be limited due to lack of snow and there will be an abundance of riders. Snodeo is still a fun weekend either way.
