How low...........

At 8pm we are at 19 below zero.  They are calling for it to drop to 28 below.  Even if we had great riding conditions, the only ones that would be out tonight, would be die hards.  28 below is cold, but it's no where near the record set in 1979 when it went down to 52 below.  Now that's COLD!

Today's Video.........

  2. Sure do remember 1979 and the 52 below I took a ride out on 3RD lake and shut the machine off and just sat man was it crisp and quit. Sure was nice back then. Back then it wasnt all about speed and how many mile we went in a day it was about looking around enjoying the things that god gave us to enjoy

    1. Amen pal. The old sleds didn't go 0-death in 3 seconds. But boy they were fun. The "travel" for the suspension was your spine.
And you had to lean baby lean to make 'em
      Turn. LOL!!

  6. our 4 place wells fargo was stationed at the OLD forge Motel.. Didn't have to drag out the heavy ramp . Couldn't anyways since it was held underneath U just Torched the locks with starting fluid put in the cobo and drove out over the tongue in the front since the snow was always plowed into it and a perfect ramp ALLLL SEASON LONG. Hek we had to shovel our way in to get the doors open! Took mor laps the Earnhardt around that front lawn on a kitty cat in one season over many many years.. I'm talking John deere Liquifires were the fastest machines era. which really aint that long ago . Tho we had bad seasons then but sporadic

    1. wells cargo I meant, among other things. Kids these days don't have enuff in em to make the hill climbs we did at 6 am or whenever on the short hills around town.. especially the forge up to the parking lot ., From what Ive seen these past couple years its just a shport hop. back then it was a small avalanche potential..
