What's that saying?

Just like the trails, things have been busy around here today.  So I'm just a little behind schedule.   But better late than never......so here it is.

This free weekend is the biggest bunch of crap of all time. NY sales tax generated on gas, food and lodging...happy for the local businesses but these Yahoos roll into town and wreck the trails that we ride and they never turn into regular riders like us...there is no reason for that many sleds to be there....stay off my trails and go home !!!

    2. "your trails"? First off its the guys that are there every weekend that wreck the trails. You guys are always in a rush to get to the bar. You live in PA so not even close to being your trails. Not anyones fault you are a shmuck that buys a trail pass.

    3. Did free wqeekend mea U didn't need a TOW permit Cauase It didn't say it on the state website. Just that Registration was free for outsiders ONLY if Ur sled was registered in your home state .. It was basically a don't ask don't PLacard aka Pull over anyone.. Never said anything about the only trail system requiring permits... FREE weekend essentially didn't mean TOW. It was everything But if You read it. But I doubt anyone was ticketed for trail permits

    5. "your trails" comment above me at 527 pm.. U got a point but U can back up your statement as ell. Politics aside the free weekend is something That was developed aimed at snowmobling across thee ntire state and is a great idea.. So Think outside the box theres more trails then just the 500 Miles in and around TOW permit area...

  2. Is it worth the drive up 3.5 hours tonight (Monday) for riding this week (Tuesday - Friday) or not?? I have a house so it's not really an expense thing. Just doubting the conditions are anything worth riding at this point. Also, does anyone have the facts and real full details of what happened with the logging truck? It be great to know from a detailed person with the facts (and someone that knows the difference between Stillwater Road and Big Moose Road...haha). Thanks

  5. Its a shame there wasn't more snow! Rode Thursday/Friday before the onslaught and trails were good! I have been riding sleds for 36 years and love to squeeze the throttle with the best of them but there's is no need to come around every corner sideways/in the middle and blowing off the little base there is! If your not SLOWING down and staying ALL the way to your RIGHT then your going to fast!
