What a day !

This has been one of the busiest Saturday's I have ever seen over at the Fastrac.  Most days there is the morning rush and then in the late afternoon you see people filling back up after a day of riding.  But today it has been a constant flow almost all day. Funny what happens when lake effect gives the area rideable snow and it's a free weekend on top of that.

Today's Video.........

  3. what would you expect? Of course its busy and it should be. FINALY some SNOW came down I'm so happy to see nobody is complaining cauase traffic is double the normal for MLK weekend. Tho I'm sure Alotta CWA members are up there to trying to push for FTTP for all the small towns even tho its a different Phone company serving the area. EVERYONE should have FIOS. No matter how deepin the woods or how small the town is.. Good Job Steve.

  7. came up fri did 130 miles from forge to highmarket and back..trails were thin through brantingham but def rideable..got deeper higher on the hill you got and all groomers were out trying to keep up with traffic....sat went to raquette lake..5 is...well its 5 the usuall...uncas was flat and smooth but thin...we left early sat night the trails were pretty beat up,I've been going to old forge for over 20 yrs and I've never seen so many people, the groomers did there best with little snow there was to work with . bottom line is they need, need, need more snow after this weekend. I think the free weekend is a great idea , but not on a holiday weekend. the trails just can't handle that many people even if there was more snow. and it doesn't help the lakes aren't frozen either...I had another trip planned for next weekend but it may be cancled if they don't get a foot or so of snow by then...trails are snirt at this point, but I'm sure if your desperate to ride you can find something to get a few miles in.
