Back online..............

Fastrac has it's pumps back online and they added something new.  They now also have ethanol free regular and it's 15 cents cheaper than the high test which is $2.669.  Not much else to report today, it's been pretty quiet.

  1. jeez...the gas up there is a complete rip off. Out in the middle of nowhere and they have to price gouge.

  2. I paid 1.55 for regular today in NJ. Remember 4.00? Heating oil is down to 1.58. In NE PA. How much are they charging for snowmobile gas at the water park and stillwater? Anyone know?

    5. It's called America and supply and demand. If he's charging that it's because people are buying it. He has a right to charge whatever he wants just as we have a choice whether to buy it

  8. Comments about the gas prices are way out of line. Do any of you know about the margins/volume when you sell gas? How much money do you think someone makes selling gas in the middle of no where? On the middle of winter? How about thanking them for providing a service to snowmobilers.

    1. I do believe, that you sir are out of line. As a matter of fact, they should be thanking the riders for going to their business establishment in the middle of no where. Paying triple the average price for gas and paying a good buck for food. Price gouging is taking advatage of people and you are trying to justify the act. WRONG!!

  9. With modern sleds MPG ability I'm surprised anyone ever needs gas in remote spots. Wide open busting trail I get 18MPG and 20-21 normal riding on my 600 ETEC I never chase gas anymore. I think about it if I know I'll go over 140 in a trip and there's always a street pump somwhere in that range. People get nervous and have old ways of thinking. It's 2016 folks, and your sled probably never needs gas when you feel it does.

  10. If you have an older sled, then you have to have old ways of thinking. An example, big moose gas station, why would you pass up an opportunity to fill up if you heading out to MRP and beyond. The majority of riders are not experts in knowing the milage between points A to Z. Sometimes the lines at the stations are crazy. I'm an older rider with a15 year old sled. To me, A FULL TANK IS A HAPPY TANK.
