What a day.................

It just keeps getting better by the day!.  This morning we woke to another round of fresh snow and this time I'd say we got about 4 inches.  The difference in the trail conditions over the last four days is like night and day.  The other night we had the full moon and a clear sky to go with it.  Today it was sun, not that it's a good thing, but it sure was a beautiful day to be out riding.

Today's Video..................

Thanks for the videos Bill............

    2. Stay away from the Mobil station. Went there early in the year and gas line froze . Got down to -6 but never should have happened.

    3. I am not a big fan of the Mobil Station. Since it was taken over the staff is awkward at times, once wouldn't accept a 50 dollar bill and another time I bought expired potato chips. Ill stick to paying extra at Big Moose.

    1. I can't speak for other motels and it all depends on how it fits into the reservartion chart. But I would say, yes most places are looking for a three night stay. As it is the biggest weekend of the winter season.

  5. Steve I know you don't like to print complaints, but I tried everything else to try to get Trail 4 groomed more often. I wrote letters to the editor of your local newspaper called the groomer garage, and wrote a letter to Town Council about getting the Trail 4 groomed more often to no avail. The groomer garage did tell me it is groom a least once a week, you can fool me. When we come to Camp during the week, or weekends Trail 4 is airways a washboard.

  6. It's a 2 mile stretch. Come on now, it's not that bad. I ride trail 6 into town from the tressel, it's a little bumpy as well, though I wouldn't be writing letters to town officials about it. Try writing a letter to Obama, maybe he can do something for you .

    1. I have a camp in Hollywood. I was up there Last week Friday through Tuesday and I will say trail 4 was the best shape its been in recent years (not great but better). They even groomed it on Sunday. And sorry Dave but I am going to say that I understand the complaint as a lot more sleds come through Hollywood hills then the town would like to admit. Once the lake freezes my neighborhood is a super-highway of trackstar morons with trigger like throttles. I am 30 years old and love speed but my biggest complaint are these toolbags who think 80MPH in a neighborhood is respectful. I guess im getting old.

  7. What the heck is that on the web cam, looks like a snow squall? How can that be when somebody reported on here a couple weeks ago that Lake Ontario was frozen and the season was a bust? That lake must have thawed out with all these 20 below zero nights. And lets see another foot or two coming this weekend depending on who you want to believe. Guess we'll be riding until April, eh? That guy must have been new in town.
