  2. Steve why do you keep letting this guy post bogus condition reports? It is just not right that alot of us drive 5-6hrs thinking we will have good riding and then we arrive and see we just wasted our time and money coming up. Please do something about this. This is now getting way out of hand.

    1. Excuse me mr anonymous. Where in my post did I say anything about great conditions. Read, then comprehend, then read again only when you fully understand a statement. Then make a comment. Have a fun filled weekend mr anonymous

  4. There are multiple trail reports in this area. You need to llok at them all and make an assessment based on that. Not just one report. Steve gives a pretty accurate and honest report.

  5. SATURDAY, JANUARY 10
"DID YOU EVER HEAR ABOUT THE GUY WHO WAITED
FOR THE PERFECT WEEKEND TO GO SNOWMOBILING
    AND THEN NEVER WENT SNOWMOBILING
BECAUSE HE WAITED FOR THE PERFECT WEEKEND?"

CURRENTLY THERE IS 4 - 5 INCHES OF FRESH SNOW
ON THE GROUND ON TOP OF A THIN BASE.
MAJORITY OF THE SNOW HAS GONE TO THE NORTH
    TOWARDS THE WATERTOWN AREA.
AS USUAL WE ARE GETTING LESS SNOW THAN PREDICTED.
    CONDITIONS HAVE IMPROVED GREATLY.
ROADS ARE ONCE AGAIN PASSABLE AND
SHOULD BE REAL GOOD THROUGH THE WEEKEND
AS THE PLOWS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP UP.
THE TRAILS ARE GETTING BETTER BY THE MINUTE
GROOMERS WILL BE OUT ALL DAY TODAY.
    TRAILS HAVE A MINIMAL BASE
AND ARE STILL ROUGH IN SOME AREAS
THIS WEEKEND LOOKS TO BE A GOOD ONE
THE DRAG STRIP ON BIG MOOSE LAKE IS PLOWED
BUT NEEDS TO BE FRESHENED UP.
BIG MOOSE LAKE HAS 10+ INCHES OF BLACK ICE.
THE CHAIN OF LAKES (1ST THROUGH 4TH) IS MUCH SAFER
AND HAS AT LEAST 8 INCHES OF ICE.
UPPER LAKES (6TH THROUGH 7TH) ARE STILL TOO DANGEROUS.
EXTREME CAUTION SHOULD ALWAYS BE USED ON ANY LAKE.
