Could be.................

All depends on what we get for snow, but it could be a great weekend of riding for those that head to the north country.  Superbowl weekend is always funny, some years it's busy and others it's not.  This year the reservation chart looks like it's a "not".  So for those that do head north they may find light traffic this weekend.

Today's Video...........

  1. Steve. How do you get to confusion flats. Do you ride to the Pine Tree and then ride the rode until the trail. Was wondering how it would be from OF.

    1. You can make a right off the trail to Bratingham (I think theres a sign that says stony creek)its the only trail on your right, or when you get to Pine Tree go right on the road then make your 1st right that road leads right into the trails.

  2. Heading up tonight for a long weekend through Monday afternoon. So happy to see the fresh 4-5" and another 1-2" today likely. My take on the crowds this weekend - I figure between the severe cold temps and the Super Bowl the sled traffic will be light(ish) but the town will be busy overall. Good party weekend for sure! No crazy long rides/adventures for me this weekend as the girl is coming with. Local riding should be flat and fun this weekend and watching the big iron out on Big Moose Lake will be cool too....

Confusion Flats: Run to Pine Tree and then if your looking at Pine Tree from the out side you go to the right for a bit and the trail head comes in on your right if I can recall correctly.
Steve correct me if Im wrong

  6. Anonymous Douche - cruising the inner loops and buzzing around town with my beautiful girlfriend and friends isn't really riding in my book. Just up for fun this weekend. You have any other questions or some problem with me feel free to put down your Kindle and look me up....

  7. Woke up -30 first stop mr apples farm for breakfast then to the mountain stop for gas. Filled up and out trail one to railroad, up railroad to beaver river, stop to warm up, across Stillwater onto Stillwater rd to number four rd, can't see over snow piles on side of roads in Watson all roads pure white with three inches of fresh powder, continue out to the buckhorn for more warmth. Leave and head to Charlie's bluejay retreat for lunch can't beat the burger and fries for the price. Leave Charlie's number four Stillwater to big moose, hit the glenmore and moose inn still - 2 degrees. Up the hill down big moose rd to eagle bay pure white hard packed base no sand, hop on fourth lake to south shore rd, south shore rd white and packed to old forge stop to fill up at mountain stop, great day riding
