Quick update.............

The temp has dropped back down below freezing and things are freezing back up.  This is a big plus, so when the snow returns later this week it will add up fast.  I was up along trail 5 last night and believe it or not, there is still some hard pack on it.  That goes to show how much longer a packed snow surface will last compared to plain old snow in the yard.

Today's Video.............

    1. Well guess your definition of "rideable" is scraping along wearing out carbides in 10 miles. Thats NOT rideable. Like I was saying all week, try back mid january.

    1. I just love when you guys see rain and 50 degree temps in the forecast you say it can change. But when you see some "snow showers" you act like its a blizzard. Face reality. Trails will need ALOT of snow to get back in shape. That is a few weeks of time.

    1. lake affect snow advisory issued? Let us know where you get your info from. That is simply not true. 6-14"? Please stop dreaming. Weather shows 2-4". You should check out Darrens website once in a while. He is usually correct.

  12. 6-14 national weather service predicts by fri am. Based on my own knowledge I'm predicting 10-12. Plenty to ride on. With this cold weather we are experiencing, and the major meltdown actually set us up with a solid rock hard foundation.. Great riding here on in. Cheers to a great winter !!

  15. Hear about that guy that was riding 80 miles to Barrow Alaska and went through the lake ice, and still made it on foot and was rescued. Even in the Artic circle the lakes are not safe. December 15th!!! OF has a while to wait this year, but Happy and Safe New Year to all.
