Not enough..............

We still have light snow in the air this morning, but nothing that's really going  to amount to anything when it's all said and done at the end of the day.  At least what we did get, made things look pretty again.  Because it really was looking pretty ugly out there.  So as I see it right now, I'm sorry to say, it looks like this weekend is going to be a bust.  But keep an eye on the cams, just in case we do get a blast of white stuff.

Let me clear something up.  If you really really want to ride, you can find some trails out there that aren't to bad and putt putt around on them.  But if you plan on coming to the area and ride where ever you want to, it isn't going to happen.  Also if the area saw traffic like a normal weekend, the conditions we do have, would go down hill very fast.

Today's Video....................

  2. Shhh... dont tell anyone but the above report is complete BS and if you head to Old Forge this weekend you will only want to hunt the above individual down and throw him in 4th lake, ski-doo and all.

Stay home and save your money for when the trails have actual snow on them, not 1 inch of fluffy decoration

    2. Everyone gets that bar/business owners come on here and post crap to get you up to TOW. The amount of sleds can be counted on 2 hands right now.

    2. Exactly. I dont think the guy is gonna lie about putting on 77 miles. If you are gonna BS than you will say the trails are great and not give specific places. Guys are riding. They were out yesterday also.

    3. Thats a great point. Just because someone tells you how many miles they "rode" means we should believe them... I have a bridge I can sell you if your in the markey

    4. Omfg!!!! There are more assholes on here than not. So why have a blog if you don't believe anyone. Just because you can't ride dosent mean people can't ride. I know for a fact sleds have been out since at least Wednesday. Guess I am lying also right? Guess those sleds at stillwaters are a figment of my imagination. If you have nothing good to say then DO NOT POST. You kids are getting annoying. Like it or not, there is riding to be had.

Inner Trails are Fine. Trail 5 seen worse... Road from Tavern. Daikers. Trails End. Glenmore and Big moose Today.. Sleds at Each Place today.. By No Means is it worth Hrs of Driving to come here. But if your up here already its only going to improve with the next 10 days forcasts

  10. Woke up to 3" of fresh powder in PA that's headed straight for OF. Steve we've been dancing down here and it looks like it's working. The snow you're going to get today and tomorrow will stick around too because of the visiting vortex. Stay positive people. Lots of winter left.

    3. They must not be locals because we need more snow.

  11. We need snow here. Im not going to ride my sleds in these low snow conditions. Up for a nice relaxing weekend though. To make it good, we need at least 10 to 12 inches then it would be good. That's the truth.

  12. What has happened to this forum? This is getting bad, Use to be able to come on here and discuss INTELLIGENTLY the riding conditions and overall conditions of the area. Now if someone makes a statement that someone else doesn't agree with, an all out name calling, intelligence questioning, and immature sounding war breaks out. Steve asked everyone nicely to please act like adults and watch what you post, and so far, some have totally ignored him. Maybe it's time for him to shut it down for awhile and let everyone get a little more mature before he opens it back up.
Steve, this site has always been great to check up on when we are not up there, but, I have to say it is getting a little to obnoxious to read anymore. JMO

  13. Dear Town of Webb highway department... Can you be kind to the few of us who came up here this weekend and leave this falling snow on the roads for just a few days... Lakes don't have a lot of snow but they are ride-able and we are out spending money and trying to make the best of marginal snow... Thanks

  14. Just got back.. Left at 11am.. Seen everything today from a 2015 Yamaha Exciter on a Demo ride to mud. water. snow.. If you need to ride try Michigan!! Oldforge need 8" of wet snow

  15. I mean this in the nicest way possible. You have got to be kidding me if you are riding your sleds in these low snow conditions. And to those that do ride, you are ruining the base by pulling up rocks and mud into what could be a good base if we get more snow. One question I have is why don't they close the trails so IDIOTS don't beat up what is here? I mean you should not ride your sled in these conditions. I am up for the weekend and I am enjoying a relaxing weekend. My sleds are in mint condition and I keep them that way by not riding on rocks and dirt. Please people, I have been riding here for over 10 years and I still don't get a lot of you. When there is low snow or not great conditions, stay off the trails. Its rookie riding at its best. I saw one guy riding down the middle of the town road with almost no snow on tar. What a clown!
