Got Cold.............

Traffic was very light last night with the temps well below zero.  As a matter of fact we didn't even get above zero yesterday.  For those of you that forgot about the camera at Nelson's Cottages in Inlet.  Ken moved the camera this fall and it now has a better view of the sledders on the lake. http://www.nelsonscottages.com/webcam

  3. I had one installed last year. 11kw GE runs 80 percent of the house. Cost 4200 installed. Fully automatic. It truly is a lifesaver. Power outages are not fun when it gets into the negative temps.

  4. The roads must be good with these temps.. Salt doesn't work when its that cold... Does the town use calcium at all?? more expensive but with the efforts to kill using roads to get to big moose or use south shore rd surely they should be good to ride ?? any word on the roads? or have they started using brine ?? which may ort not work since its a mixture of salt.

  8. Rebuttal? They wrote about what they do and why. The fact is they used to plow the center of the roads and leave the edges for sleds. Most people drove like they had some sense then, now everyone has to be there yesterday for a meeting today. Why not solve the problem by putting trails the groomers could work on alongside the roads and leave the roads to the cars? Oh wait, then you'll stir up the enviro wackos.

    2. You are right. Tell me how to get to the trails from Hollywood Hills. If you are lucky enough to get to Trail 4, it will more than likely to be a washboard.
