Looks like more to come.......

Forecast is calling for the lake effect band to move back north later today and drop some more snow on us.  Will it?  Who knows for sure, but it doesn't look like it will be as much as we got yesterday, when it does.  When I was out yesterday working on the trail cam, I kicked a whole in the packed snow after the groomer went past and I'd give it 4 to 6 inches of packed snow at that location.  By what I saw this morning, it looks like the improvement I did to the trail cam will stop the snow from stacking up in front of the lens and blocking the view.  Here's the link for the live cam again, just in case you missed it the other day.

  7. Bad Boy you must be very young if you think this is the best start in OF history, but it is a much better one than most times this year in a long time. Was out yesterday and as you would expect the groomers haven't had time to catch up with everything. Not sure if they are rolling or dragging, but groomed trails are in nice shape. Ungroomed is what you would expect with this much snow and light traffic, you are going to hit bottom. With no firm base and traffic this weekend I would expect the trails to get beat up. Lakes would scare me now. They were icing up nice and then had last weeks warm up and now a lot of snow on them. I wouldn't try it.
