It's Offical.......

The NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE in ALBANY NY has posted an Winter Weather Advisory for our area.  So I'm crosing my fingers and starting to do the snow dance.  We'll take what ever snow they want to give us, it will help us get past this next warm up.  Also I forgot to put in the video....we picked up an inch of light snow over night.

Today's Video for..........

  1. Any one get to meet SMOKE this weekend ?

Met Tony at Big Moose .. Saturday.. Smoke has Firm handshake...

In for ZIPPYS ride..so I had a chance to shake hands a chat for a bit, in BM 's lounge. Nice guy and he was clean shaved!

Kudos to Tony.. An unselfish effort on his part to meet and greet, and lend his celebrity to a GREAT cause and help his crew chief, Zippy and his wife, raise a ton of dough.
I'm sure Old Forge area this weekend, was a indirect benefactor.

You should have the looks on the kids when he showed up!

IMO,Fine ambassador for Motorsports, in general.
    Made many fans that afternoon.

BTW he is not too fond (of people) bum rushing in for a clumsy photo op.

    1. i was there and not a fan find him to be stand offish and plops himself in a booth and does not get up and socialize much. Kurt Busch and Joey Logano much more fun to be around. Tony can stay home. That's my opinion. Zippy charity event awesome cause, love the zippy event but pick a new celebrity.

    2. They were trying to get Jeff Gordon but he failed the minimum height test to get into Inlet..

And the rest of the NASCAR Star celebrities were too busy learning how to drive ther 120 snowmobiles.

  4. it's not too often that I can zip up trail 5 at 75 mph on a saturday afternoon. Not that I am suggesting you do that but when I get a chance I let er fly...it was the smoothest I've ever seen. I thought this weekend was really good riding for the amount of snow we have...Cold is power !!!

  6. What a great weekend. The TOW deserves a lot of credit for keeping things going this weekend. For the snow that was out there, the groomers did a terrific job at pulling in what was out there. Steve, I give you a lot of credit for putting in the effort that you put into this site. As for some of the other comments...there are ways to have a little fun on here without being offensive or vulgar. Where is the Professor?>>>

  7. I give this blog until wednesday before it turns back to offensive and vulgar comments. It does make it a exciting to read what the other moron wrote. It only seems to happen on a warm up, and its coming. Poor trails and black top roads are in the forecast.

    1. wishful thinking, whatever loose snow on top will melt, all thats left is a frozen base. With out any new snow in the forecast, what are they gouing to groom or push arouned???? ICE to fill in the ruts?? Hopefully they get things smoothed out before tomorrow. Like 719 said, blacktop roads, hopefully fair trails for the weekend

    2. Exactly. Unless we get a major snow storm conditions will suck. An inch or 2 here and there really dosent do a thing.

  11. Can anyone tell me why every damn time it gets warm out it rains? A day or 2 of warm weather wont hurt much. Its the rain that hurts. Kills everything.
