It's almost over !

The thall, that is. The riding season is long from being over and there will be lots of riding to be had yet.  I'm crosing my fingers that we don't see the R they are calling for.  If we can get by without it and have the temps drop Monday night.  We will be in a lot better shape than if we do get the R.  Because the snow we have can't suck up any more moisture and all it's doing now is melting.  As I said yesterday, the few that did make the trip to the area got in some riding.  It may not have been the best of conditions, but they got out and had some fun.  Two guys that checked in Friday morning put on 230 miles over the weekend.   But they did say they saw some "ugly" in a few places.

Here's Todays Video for................

  2. For all of you that could not stay off the trails for 1 weekend, Please do not complain about the bare, bumpy , rutted areas when it only snows marginal. I myself and Im sure others will agree, you may have been riding, but at 47deg the snow was slush, it was to hot in your fancy matching suits to enjoy. Sleds dont handle well, run not at peak perf, the scenery is bla!! unless you like bare trees/fog/rain etc This is why its called snowmobiling you need snow. Stop and think about it where did you actually go, maybe stillwater WOW!!!! For just 1 weekend of WHAT??? You know the groomers dont groom slush so the ruts and bare spots you created this this weekend, do you think they will freeze on tue I know you dont care your at home. Thank all of you that rode this past weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. You can’t fix stupid
All for ME and the heck for the rest is what they think
Just because it says good does not mean it is. Please read what others have been saying on this and other snowmobile blogs.
Look at all the cams and see the brown.

  7. Wow all this chat has my family really excited to get up there and ride when there's snow again. The welcome seems so warm and fuzzy! And no I was t there this weekend but what the hell. Let's not get all mad with each other because "mother nature ". Has not been working with us for the past few years. Things will change and we will all be riding together again soon. Meanwhile let's not act like babies and self implode! Just what all the antis need to get what they want. Knock it off.... By the way " happy new year ". See ya when it snows!

  8. I would just like someone to explain to me why the town reports their trails as "good" on a morning after a 48deg saturday....these kinds of "reports" seem to have surfaced in the last few seasons after years of accurate reporting.....just getting tired of hearing it like that after living here and knowing how the conditions really are.

    1. One of the mysterious questions nevered answered...

Some people I know of (really) take that little communication blurb on the TOW site as gospel.

Call the Town super..and get a comment.

      Until then.. :)

  10. And so we will. Sounds to me like some of you are actually enjoying the depression of the snow lovers? To take the time to log in here and taunt says a lot about the type of people you are! Just an FYI I know a lot of snowmobilers and everyone of them stops to help people. They enjoy helping others and seeing good things. Unlike a person miserable enough to log in here and start trouble. Anyway, thanks for tolerating us when it snows. Awefully big of you!

  12. Wow. As if the wash out is not depressing enough we have taunters on this blog that have nothing better to do than make things worse. I can't speak for Steve but I know him pretty well and I have to think he's loosing patience with you idiots. I wish he would shout down the blog for a while and teach you idiots a lesson. Grow the hell up !!!

NOT GOOD and from personal exp I agree with the reviews. Back 10 12 yrs ago I thought this was a fantastic place not anymore. Sorry if this affends you but I just wanted to ask.

    3. Hi Mike,

Sorry that you didn't enjoy your meal at The Old Mill. I can tell you that there are more people happy with the food than not. Because I hear it first hand, either way, when they come back to the motel. On another note just to let ThewaybackInn post above know, I don't have ownership in it or my family.

      Steve
