After reviewing......

The different forecasts, it looks like we will be below zero for a few more mornings yet....sweet!  As you will hear in the video we went down to 27 below this morning and we had 22 below the morning before.  It was nice the last few days to go out and hear the crunch of the snow under your feet.  Is there a warm up coming to us next week?  Maybe....but like always, I'll let you know when it happens.  So you better ride it while we got it!  Because there are only a few things in life that are for sure and good trail conditions isn't one of them.

Today's Video for........

  3. Yeah but forcast shows rain both days. Trails are in terrible shape as it is. Without a ton of snow, might as well forget riding this year. The conditions are breaking sleds.

    1. I'd have to agree the forecast doesn't look to good. But nothing is for sure till it happens. I'll also be sure to pass on your information to the guests that I have in putting on over a hundred miles a day.

  5. if it only rains at night next week it will be snow. you never know - going up next weekend. Last year there was nothing and the next day they got about 6-10 inches and nothing was planned for it.

  6. I recall one friday eve I was just outside of town, hit those bumps on 28 and lost the axle on my trailer. No damage to the sleds. Had the machines towed to the motel, got on the sleds and then it rained all night and all day on sat. Sunday morn we had 8 inches and rode 125 Miles. We were the talk of the town. It took an hour to get a tow but 4 cars stopped to see if we needed help. what a weekend!

    1. I forgot all about the RR overpass and the bumps. Yes they did get to be something by mid winter. I haven't been south in a few weeks. I know there was a few places that got bad on 28. Did any pop up this year yet?

    2. Don't know. Haven't been up yet this year. That happend back in '08. Wasn't going fast 40 or 50. The "U" bolts were rusted. the axle wound up on a snow bank 100 ft. behind us. thank god no one was behind us. North/south connection should put a sign up back there!
