Wishing......

All a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving Holiday!

Don't do like I have done way to many times and forget  to leave room for pie.

      ...mother nature was late with the free drink refills. :}

    2. Just like eveyone else, we had a very dry summer. So mother nature didn't do much for keeping the water levels up. Also the water auth. needed water from the reservoir down stream and to top it off, there is also an eletric plant that feeds from this body of water. So the end results are what you see on the cam.

  28. Yes he did Buy a Place place on south shore road, Be interesting to see if they snowmobile or just summer crowd.. I saw him at Matt's Having wings on a thursday night about a month back...

    Now the Show is ending he is back to a Normal guy.

  29. Real estate prices are crazy these days! Been sledding up there since i was a kid and always wanted a house in the area but i doubt that it will ever happen with the way prices are!

    1. HEAR THAT I WAS RIDING IN OLD FORGE in 1970 WHEN YOU PAYED 700.00 for a sled. it sure was nice back then.

    2. I'm not trying to correct your message, but it's (paid) not payed.
      The average wage in 1970 was & 7,500.00 a year.
      So the average guy today has to make $85,000.00 just to stay even.

  30. Sure was my dad still kicks him self for not buying a camp back in the 70s when he could of bought a place on glenmore rd for 15,000 lol more like 200k today. Looks like there would b enough snow to ride opening day if today was monday! You never know tho Let it Snow!

  31. I paid 750.00 for a 1978 yamaha exciter 440 BRAND NEW those were the days! still have the sled too! for putting around the house.

      Where do you go for parts. The biggest things
      we need are new seats.
      Other then that they still run nice.

  35. Hey Steve, anything you can do to have the cam turned at the Infomation Building back toward the bridge would be much apreciated. Its one of the views we all look at this time of year for riding conditions....

  41. yeah we came up this weekend to drop off the sleds for storage and service. It was great to see Steve and hang for a night at Christys. We had about 6 inches of snow in the lot and now it's history...welcome to December !!!

  43. For a FACT on Sat Dec 1st Paul Sr was at Daikers around 4:30pm having a burger with 3 others at the table near the fire. We had some Fresh snow in the area.. IT was looking like winter here..

    The sleds Ready. However we went fishing today at 10am and it was in the mid 50's

    White Out Conditions Right not on Uncas Road.. Winds have Picked up and temps dropped from 43 to 27 in less then 1hr... Guys and Ladies will have White Ground for the weekend just not sure how much..

    Ohhh Its Winter here this Morning... Making Ice!!

    We went from 57degrees to about 11 degrees in less then 36hrs I would love to see some LAKE EFFECTS!!
