I enjoy it too!

There's nothing better than blasting into a corner and crossing the sled up as you go around it.  But try to keep in the back of your mind, that this is going to be a long holiday weekend and if all the snow gets blasted into the woods the groomers can't bring it back.  I'm sure some may say, I'm going to do what I want.  But remember this....You'll only have yourself to blame the next time you come down that trail and the corner is bare.

Hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!

  8. How come when I talk about not riding when the yahoo's are around I get hammered on. No - I personally choose to not ride hardly ever on weekends, holiday weeks (although last few years traffic has been almost nothing) or when the trails suck.....thus no riding yet this season. And I see the storm from last night missed AGAIN so there goes the season for me......dammit NEVER would have expected anything like this.

    4. Hi John, Where up the road? Here in MA or up on Joy Tract Road in OF?? Yeah I tinkered with my sled in November here in Agawam and then trailered up to OF Snodeo weekend to unload everything for the season (even that's rare as I always bring my trailer up way earlier than that). Haven't been back not one time but I'm still hopeful to squeeze in a few rides in NY before it's over. My friends up at Sugarloaf in ME are begging me to come up next week and I wouldn't even have to bring a sled - just drive the 5-6 hours up as there's an clean 07 Dragon I can use like it's mine. The pics they've been sending me are sick....

    6. No kidding 3 toasted picked sleds? Can't say it would have been too hard to predict something like happening. I'm a total high mileage die hard, but not stupid, so I totally agree with you. Once you've really ridden great conditions with no traffic it's hard to settle for so, so much less than that. My friends are gonna ride from Sugarloaf, ME where they have a real nice ($$$) seasonal place up to Caribou, ME on an over night and then back. I'm gonna have to go - be crazy not to take the invite. Working out the plans now.....I miss OF and the surrounding areas!
