Old Forge, NY Snow Report

The snow we are getting today is from a storm, is adding up fast and is great for making base. Let's cross our fingers we get what they are calling for and with the low temps next week we will be riding again.

Someone had asked the other day if I have a page on Facebook. I started to set one up but haven't finished it.

Today's Video.........

  9. Thanks Steve for all you do to bring us up to date with current conditions there. Yes there are people that will bash OF but for me and our gang coming up since the late 1980's we believe it's worth the permit and YES WE CAN GOING IN ANY DIRECTION OUT OF TOWN. Just got to know the trails and where they go.

For those that don't know Steve puts all the cams up and runs them at his own expense and never complains about doing it.
When they go down he takes time away from his business to try and get them back up and running ASAP.

Hope we keep getting a lot of snow.

    Again THANKS STEVE

  23. Amazing how times have changed, with computers and webcams anybody can see how it is up there in a few minutes,I remember just watching the weather and maybe a phone call to the information center and that was it,make the trip and find out the conditions on your own. its truly a modern convenience, and we thank you Steve for that, good job.Be on the trails very soon. THINK SNOW

  26. Thanks for all you do. A few clicks and I can be in Gods Country while I sit at work whenever I desire. Old Forge should be proud to have a Hotelier as giving as you.
if $10 a year was given to you buy those of us who enjoy your updates it would probably help defray your costs and hopefully allow your service to always be available. It would be a bargain! Next trip up I will be leaving you my $10. Dont let the ungrateful get to you
    Thanks again
