2-5-2011 Old Forge Trail Report

Got the house part of the roof shoveled yesterday and thanks for offering to help Jenny. Looks like I'll be doing the motel section this week if we get what they are calling for tonight. I didn't look to see if it's going to be storm snow or lake effect. All depends on what type of snow if I'll have to shovel or not.

Here's todays video..........

  4. Hey Steve,
Great to see ya last night! Great video and love the snowblower to clear the snow off the sidewalk. What Dave didn't tell ya was when we cleared off our roof yesterday, he and Mike lugged the snowblower up a flight of stairs to clean the snow off the back deck instead of shoveling! I'd rather clear the snow and have it than not have it and not be able to ride!! Lets just hope it keeps coming and we have a long season!

Troy you and Jack E Monker need to ride together.

Mike and I will take Jack E Monker up the end of the month so Steve keep some snow on the town roads for Jack.

Sue watching a video only gives you a clue as to what the conditions are at the time it was taken.
Now when you go up and ride the trail in real time it has changed.
Glad to give you a lesson on what you’re watching.
Steve does a good job at keeping us posted as to the current conditions when the video was taken so keep up the good work Steve.
Oh yes I’ve been riding OF trails and the area since 1989 so from hour to hour the condition of the trails change.

  10. What does watching the video of steve shoveling the roof and the current trail conditions changing from hour to hour have to do with each other?
